"I’ve been using CLO3D for a while now..."
I’ve been using CLO3D for a while now, and overall it does the job well. The main thing I keep running into is the asset library. It has some of the basics, which is helpful when I’m just getting started on something, but I often find myself pausing mid-project to either make an asset myself or go hunting for one somewhere else. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means, and the software itself works fine, but I do wish the library had more variety so the workflow felt a little smoother
"Lots of helpful tools, but it was a lot at first"
I been using CLO3D for clothing design work, and it has a ton of useful stuff in it. The pattern making and garment previews are really detailed, and I liked how much control you had over fabrics, fit, and little details. It did takes me a while to figure things out though, because some menus feel kind of tucked away. Once I got used to it, it become handy. It’s not perfect, but for serious fashion or garment work, I think it’s a solid tool.

"I use CLO for patternmaking and it…"
I use CLO for patternmaking and it has been such a big help. Moving darts checking the fit and trying out little changes is so much faster than doing everything by hand first. It did take me a little while to get comfortable with it but now I’m in it almost every day...
"Good avatar options, but it takes a little patience"
I mostly use CLO3D for testing how clothes look on custom avatars, and overall it’s been good for that. I like that the body settings are detailed enough that you can adjust measurements to get close to an actual person’s shape, which is really helpful if you’re not just working with a default model. It did take me a little while to figure everything out, though. Some of the controls aren’t super obvious at first, and a few of the avatar poses can look kind of stiff or unnatural until you mess around with them a bit. Once I spent some time clicking through the settings and adjusting things, it started to make more sense and worked fine for what I needed. I do think it would be better if the controls were simpler or more beginner-friendly, but I still think it’s a solid tool overall.

"Helpful tutorials, but not perfect"
The tutorials helped me a lot, and I was impressed by how quickly the community answered my questions. That said, I still had a few moments where I felt stuck or wished things were explained a bit more clearly. Overall, I had a good experience, just with a couple of frustrations along the way

"Export options are fine, I guess"
The exports do work, so that’s good. Fine. I just wish there were more format options because right now it feels a bit limited. Meh.

"Trust your gut on the price"
I wanted to like it, but the price just doesn’t feel worth it to me. Sometimes you can tell quickly when something doesn’t quite match what you expected, and my instinct says this one is a bit overpriced for what you get

"Sorta a game changer for checking garments"
I’ve been using CLO to look over my designs in 3D before I make any samples, and it’s been really helpful. The fabric drape and fit view feel accurate, so it saves me a lot of back and forth. I’m sorta surprised how much easier it’s made the whole process. Really happy with it...
"Works better than I expected"
I’ll admit, CLO actually plays nicely with the other tools I use. Exporting to Blender has been mostly straightforward, and bringing files into Adobe apps usually works fine too. It’s not perfect though, every now and then I have to mess with formats or clean things up a bit. Still, as much as I hate to say it, it does save me time overall, even if the process isn’t always totally smooth

"Tough Start, Then It Clicked"
I remember it feeling hard at the beginning, though I’ve probably blocked out the most frustrating parts by now. After a little while, it started making way more sense and got easier quickly

"Really easy for making tech packs"
I used clo3d to put together a technical package, and overall the process was easy and straightforward. A few things took me a little time to figure out at first, but once I got going it was smooth. The final files came out clean and professional, so I was happy with the result.

"Easy enough"
License setup was smooth. Took a sec to find what I needed, but activation worked fine.

"Surprisingly Fast Fix"
Had my issue fixed in just a few minutes, which was almost suspiciously efficient. I was fully prepared to lose half my day, but apparently that wasn’t on the menu. Thanks!

"Powerful software, but the Learning curve is rough"
CLO3D is definitely powerful, and I can see why people use it, but the training resources didn’t help me as much as I hoped. A lot of the info feels kind of scattered or way too basic, and whenever I got stuck, finding a clear answer was Frustrating. For the price, I really expected better tutorials and more real-world examples to follow.

"Expected Better Rendering for the Price"
I mostly tried CLO because I wanted to make nice-looking clothing renders, i came away a bit disappointed. Like, the fabric simulation itself is fine, it does the job, but when it comes to the final render, everything can look kind of flat and not as realistic as I expected. I kept thinking maybe I just needed to adjust the lighting or mess with the materials more, and yeah, you can improve it if you spend enough time tweaking things, but even then something still feels a little off. For how much it costs, I guess I expected the images to look cleaner right away and the setup to be more straightforward. It works, sure, but if rendering is the main reason you’re using it, I’m not really convinced it’s worth it.

"Easier Than I Thought"
clo3D was easier to use than I expected. A few tools took me a little time to figure out, but overall it felt straightforward and not too overwhelming

"Really Disappointed With the Bugs"
I really wanted this to work well, but it’s been disappointing. There are just too many bugs, and it crashes a lot, usually right when I actually need to use it. It’s frustrating because I was hoping for something more reliable.
"Pretty smooth so far"
It’s been really solid for me. Everything loads fast, the tools feel stable, and I haven’t had any crashes so far. Compared to some others I’ve used, it just feels...

"CLO3D is actually a great tool once..."
CLO3D is actually a great tool once it finally runs properly, but the hardware demands are ridiculous. My older laptop struggled like crazy and it was so frustrating because it felt like the software was the problem the whole time. I ended up having to switch to a much better PC with a solid graphics card, and only then did it run smoothly. I’m giving it 4 stars because it does work really well, but they seriously need to be clearer about how much power this thing needs. It’s definitely not for weaker machines.
"Makes teamwork a lot smoother"
I mostly use CLO with my team, and to be fair, it has made sharing designs so much easier. Instead of passing around a ton of files and trying to keep track of the latest version, we can all stay on the same page much more easily.
The comments and updates are straightforward to follow, which cuts down on a lot of unnecessary back and forth. It’s not perfect 100% of the time, but for collaborating with a team, it’s been really helpful.
